Works for me Wednesday
Water. I don’t drink it. Even though water is supposed to be the best thing for you I just can’t bring myself to do it. That was until I discovered two things:
1. A straw.
You’d think something so simple wouldn’t make a difference but let me tell you, I can now drink ALOT of water in one day if I drink out of a straw. It all started when a dear friend bought me this water bottle after I’d been seeing some doctors for infertility (hydrate!).

Notice my baby’s cute little toes in the picture. hehe.
Anyway, this one is 24 oz and I can easily drink 3 of these a day. She got it at Target but now I can’t find them there anymore. But it also works with just your normal every day straw. Straws make drinking water fun!
2. Diet Lipton Green Tea with Citrus.
This is another very simple thing that makes a big difference. I hate diet beverages. I hate tea. I know “hate” is a strong word but I’m just being honest with ya. Now although I hate anything diet and anything tea I do not hate Diet Lipton Green Tea with Citrus. I love it. LOVE. IT. It does have 60 mg of sodium. I have no idea if that’s a lot or not but all the other lines are a bit fat zero so that’s good right.
Do you need hydrated? Hate water? Hate diet? Hate tea? Repeat after me: STRAWS and DIET LIPTON GREEN TEA WITH CITRUS. Works for me!

I always seem to drink more water when I use a straw. I love that Lipton green tea as well. It is one of my favorite things to splurge on.

I love that flavor, too, but teas don’t hydrate you because they’re diuretics (that means they make you pee!). If you drink a lot of tea, you’ll actually get the opposite effect – you’ll lose fluids.
That particular brand also has caffeine.
I know this because I have a medical condition which requires me to stay hydrated and avoid caffeine.
You might try Crystal Light mixed with seltzer water – that’s zero calories/no caffeine/low sodium, and helps me get enough fluid every day.
