It’s party time!

I wasn’t going to participate in the Ultimate Blog Party but I just can’t help myself, a party sounds so fun. And even though I’m number 1100 or so, that’s ok! So, welcome to my party! I’m so glad you stopped by.

As you probably already know my name is Missy. I’ve been blogging for a little less than a year and I originally started blogging as we journeyed through adoption. We’ve now come through that journey but I continue to love to blog and love getting to know all of yous!

I’ve been married to my Hubby for a little over 5 years. Here we are:

I’m just joshing ya, this isn’t really what we look like every day. Although if it was 1988 we’d be very hip, don’t ya think!

God has been with us through the last 5 years and has helped us to fall deeper in love with each other. Each year has been better than the one before and for that we are so thankful. We love to grow closer to Christ each day and to also grow closer to each other. Some things we love to do….

Jeeping. Some days I do believe he loves his Jeep more than me. We also love to go to movies, go on walks with our dogs, hang out with our church’s youth group and anything that involves our kids.

Pat has two kids – Princess and Prince.

Aren’t they just the cutest things you’ve ever seen! Prince is 19 and living on his own. Princess is 17 and a junior in high school. (And don’t even ask me what we’re going to do when she goes to college because we aren’t talking about that right now. She is not going to college. She’s going to live at home for the rest of her life, right!?!)

Hubby and I recently became the parents of Angel. Aka Stinky!

Angel is 4 months old and came home to us at 2 months. It’s been an amazing journey. You read more about that here.

I love being a mommy. I’ve waited a long time to be a mom and it’s been such a blessing. After being home with Angel for 8 weeks I just recently went back to work as a Ministry Assistant for our church. When I’m not holding Angel, hanging out with my family, working or cleaning my house I love to scrapbook (which means I don’t do it very often!). I also love to read and cook and of course blog!!!

But as much as I love being a mommy and my family and all these things, I love Jesus even more. He is what makes me who I am! His goodness and faithfulness are so amazing and I am grateful every day for His love.
