All for you
Last night we watched The Passion of the Christ with about 20 adults and teenagers. I had already seen this movie two times before, but for some reason I was so much more overcome last night.
To see the pain in Mary’s eyes. Every time they showed this mother’s anguish I wept harder because I know how I’ve been feeling. Angel has had a bad case of diaper rash lately. Something really so small, although painful to her. And it’s just about broken my heart to not be able to instantly make it go away. Can you imagine Mary’s pain? How much more did she have to endure as she watched her baby suffer.
To look around the room and see 16 and 17 year olds wiping tears from their face. Our Princess seeing these images for the first time. Oh that they would never ever forget the great love their Father has for them.
And as I sat there crying I was overcome with a sense of thankfulness mixed with unworthiness. My heart overflows with gratitude for my Savior and His expression of love.
I pray you will live each and every day celebrating the hope that is found through Him. And that if you don’t know this hope that I speak of that you would seek Jesus with all your heart. When you seek Him, you will find Him.
