Works for me Wednesday – Recipe edition
Ya recipes! I’m beginning to enjoy food a little more every day so I was so excited to hear about today’s Works for me Wednesday. Shannon over at Rocks in my Dryer has asked that we submit recipes using 5 ingredients or less. I have lots of those but a few that we have often – probably a little too much – but Hubby loves them so why not! And they are probably no brainer recipes but I’ll share them anyway. Each of these recipes serve about 3-4.
Head over to Rocks in my Dryer for some amazing recipes!
BBQ Pork Sandwiches
1 Pork roast
1 bottle BBQ sauce
1/2 onion, sliced
Buns
Put pork roast, BBQ sauce and onion in crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Shred with fork and cook another 30 minutes or so. Pile on buns and serve with chips or salad.
Easiest Chicken
3-4 frozen (yes frozen!) chicken breasts-depending on size
1 can cream chicken soup
1 can cream mushroom soup
Seasonings to taste
Rice, cooked
Put chicken and both soups into crock pot. Cook on low for 10-12 hours. Shred chicken about 30 minutes before serving. This will make a very yummy gravy. Serve chicken with gravy over rice.
Round Steak Crock Pot
1-2 pounds round steak, cubed
1 can cream mushroom soup
1 can cream potato soup
Onion, sliced
Egg noodles, cooked or rice, cooked
Put round steak, soups and onion in crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve over noodles or rice.
Enjoy!
