Little BOY Pip!

Yes we’re having a boy! And no there won’t be a guessing contest like I originally said. I just couldn’t wait to tell you all our news! Isn’t he the cutest thing ever?

The ultrasound went great. The technician said everything looks good from her eyes but a specialist will read it of course and then my next OB appointment is next week.

I can’t begin to tell you how amazing it was to see him on that screen. This pregnancy hasn’t really seemed real to me and almost everyday I ask God, “why”. Not “why” because I don’t want this pregnancy but “why” because I feel so unworthy. He has blessed us so much. Healed our marriage, brought Princess and Hubby to Himself, blessed us with Belle, and now this. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed with the feelings of both unworthiness and gratefulness. It’s hard to explain.

Ok, I’m already too emotional so enough of that. Now the hard part begins in trying to find a name. We’ll probably go with a biblical name but that’s not set in stone. The one thing we do know is his middle name will be Richard, after Hubby’s dad who died when Hubby was little. So help us out here. What are some of your favorite boy names?

Here are a few more pictures.

This one he has his hand on his head. He appears to be saying, “oh brother my parents are weird!” or something like that.

His foot and hand. Very nice.

And again his hands. The first one they are up by his face, he appears to be praying. Probably praying that mommy would eat something other than Pizza Rolls and ice cream for supper!

We appreciate your continued prayers for Little Pip and the rest of this pregnancy!

Congratulations!!! So excited for you and Hubby! A little boy…that’s so great. Ultrasound pictures are so sweet…especially when they move their hands and stuff like that.

I smiled when I read about you feeling Pip. I remember with my first–he’d move around quite a bit and as soon as I’d grab my husband’s hand, it would stop. It’s like they can sense it. But, that only lasts for a littl bit….the bigger they get, the more others will be able to feel too. Oh, enjoy that precious feeling….it’s such a blessed thing to have that sweet baby moving inside your tummy. That’s one thing I missed when my babies were born. It’s the neatest thing. Isn’t our God AWESOME!!

Do I spy a little boy part in the first picture?? My vote is for Samuel! I tend to favor Biblical names as well. Or Levi, Benjamin, Aaron (it would king of match Belle’s), or Joseph (Joe/Joey) would stick with the theme!

I ADORE sono pics…they hold such hope and beauty in their scrambled images. (And they kind of feel like puzzles too, don’t you think?)

You really can’t go wrong with Biblical names for a boy. Joshua is one of my favorites. And I am married to a David and have a Nathan of my own so I am also a fan of those names as well.

My son just came downstairs from his nap and he wanted to know all about the baby in the pictures. I told him you were asking for names and he suggested Judah…

    “…because it’s a great name.”

(He also had a friend in his pre school class this last year named Judah.)

There you go. The 5 year old has spoken.

Oh, yay! Thanks for sharing your news and just coming out with it and not making us guess. And for sharing the sweet pictures!

Caleb – was just telling my cousin today that Caleb is one of my favorite names ever!

Thanks for your sweet comment today and for praying for my family.

What a beautiful baby boy! Isn’t it amazing to see God’s perfect plan unfold? (I guess a portion of the plan anyway!) Recent events may have caught you, and Hubby, by surprise but everything is happening just as He designed it.

My favorite baby boy name is Elijah. We haven’t used it in our family because it doesn’t fit the naming pattern we have. Do you suppose it’s too late to rename my other two children? =)

And, I think I may have missed something with the Pizza Rolls and ice cream for dinner. I could have sworn I read that those items were a part of the pregnancy diet. Maybe my book is out of date???

Blessings to all of you, especially that sweet little boy!

    Congrats! A boy, how fun!!

Names, not an easy thing for sure. Well my absolute favorite boy name is Zachary (can’t guess why now can you, hee, hee) and I love the meaning of it too, “God has remembered”

As for other suggestions I’m useless, sorry. 🙂

And as for what’s on the menu when you’re pregnant, it’s whatever sounds good!
