After about 36 hours of labor, including 4 hours of pushing, Pip was delivered via C-Section at 2:44 am today, December 17th!

I’m seriously falling asleep just typing this so you’ll get a better, more detailed update within a few days!

Oh, you want to know his name? Although his bloggy name will continue to be Pip we do want to share with you his real name:

Caleb Richard!

He weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces and has tons if hair! We don’t know how long he is as they haven’t done that yet.

Well that’s all I’ve got for right now. I need to sleep while Pip is!

p.s. Thanks so much for your prayers!

Thank you for the update – so glad to know all is well and to see little Pip!

I agree with Jenny though – sleep…sleep as much as you possible can in that crazy hospital where they will probably wake you up every couple of hours just for the fun of it!

Congratulations!!! Thanks for the update…I was wondering yesterday, but figured you were busy either with labor or snuggling with Pip! So glad to hear all is well. I will continue to pray for all of you….and for you recovery. I know first-hand about recovering from a c-section..it’s not fun, but it’s not that bad. Get some rest when you can and enjoy your sweet baby Caleb!! Congrats again!
