Well obviously it’s not the last time we’ll ever have supper with Princess. But let me be a little dramatic will ya? Ok, thanks.
So tonight was our last night/last supper/last dessert/last chalk fest before Princess goes to college tomorrow morning. We leave around 8:00 am, check in at 1:00 pm, and will probably leave for home – without our Princess – at around 5:00 or 6:00 pm.
Thank goodness our dessert included chocolate because I’ll be needing alot of it to get me through the next few days.
I didn’t get any pictures of our supper. We had Princess’s choice – homemade mini pizzas. Princess’s mom and step-dad were coming over at 7:00 pm so we had a little time to kill and decided to go outside.
First Princess blew bubbles for Angel.
And then we broke out the chalk. Scary things happen when our family chalks.
Well this first one isn’t scary. Just a nice message to Princess.
And then it got scary. We decided to trace each other and then of course everyone needed clothes and accessories.
This is Pat. In his tank shirt. And laced up high tops. And pink shorts. And Freddy Kruger hat and blade hand.
Angel and Caleb look pretty cute. By the way Caleb did not cry one little bit when we made him lay down on the cement to trace him with chalk. Really. He loved every second of it.
Here’s Princess. Pat gave her a handgun so she could protect herself at college. Or not.
And here is yours truly. Otherwise known as Yoda in a girl outfit.
We had so much fun. Angel and Caleb love to be outside.
Especially when they’re outside with their big sister.
Earlier in the day I had decided to make a special treat for Princess. She loves Triple Chocolate Meltdowns from AppleBees and I saw a recipe on Pioneer Woman that was similar to it – Molten Chocolate Lava Cakes. And so even though I’d never made them before I decided to give it a try tonight.
And miraculously they turned out perfect. I think that just proves how easy they are to make because I think y’all know what usually happens when I make new recipes.
Here’s Princess and her mom enjoying dessert!
Mmm, as you can see by Angel’s chocolate covered face she really loved them!
Just hanging out – Angel, Princess and Princess’s mom
Towards the end of the night things got a little wild and crazy. We of course had whipped cream with our dessert and Pat decided to have one last wrestling match with Princess.
And spray her with whipped cream.
It was a good night. Tomorrow will I’m sure bring alot of tears but it also brings the beginning of a new chapter for Princess. And that’s good too.
