I wish I could record every single thing Angel, my 2 year old says. She’s just so funny. So I’m very thankful for this blog and for Tiny Talk Tuesday to write down those that are especially memorable.
I’m not sure what I was watching on tv the other day, probably Gilmore Girls or Food Network. But Angel had had enough of whatever it was I was watching. I had walked into the kitchen to get something and Angel followed right behind me, pointed her finger at me and said,
“Mama, that’s enough tv for you!”
It was snack time and on this paticular night Pat was in charge of getting the snack. I was in the bedroom and had come out to see both of them carrying a bowl of something and heading downstairs. I asked Angel what she was having for a snack.
“I’m having a nice salad,” she said.
And I had to capture a picture of it too (a bad picture, but a picture none the less). Yes my two year old would prefer salad over a cookie any day!
That same night, as her and Pat were eating their “nice salads” we were watching the Olympics. Ice skating was on and we were enjoying the women’s program. I believe it was the exibition performance and we were watching the young lady that won gold.
After a few minutes of watching Angel turns to us and says, “She doesn’t have any friends!”
