It’s my daddy’s birthday today! And it’s Thankful Thursday. What a great combination because I’m so thankful for my daddy! Here he is with our Belle.
Some things about my dad:
He has a pony tail.
When his hair is out of the pony tail he looks like Jesus. 
He grew up in Montana.
He rescued my mom when she was 18. Basically stole her away from this camp she was at and they lived happily every after! (right mom and dad!
He loves to eat raw onions and potatoes. Yummy!
He’s a wonderful cook.
After working in drywall for his whole life a few years ago he became a house parent. Which means he takes care of 9 junior high girls. Crazy, huh!
He taught me how to look at the walls and ceilings anytime I walk into a new room.
Just like my Hubby he is obsessed with Jeeps. He was the first in our family to buy a Jeep Wrangler, thus encouraging my Hubby to follow suit.
In addition to being a house parent he and my mom own a trophy and awards business.
6 or 7 years ago they sold their house and bought a boat. A big boat. That they lived on. And everyone thought they were rich.
My dad is rich. Rich in honesty and integrity. Rich in faith in God. Rich in love.
Can’t get any richer than that!
